On February 14, 2026, Valentine’s Day, we spent an incredible full day at Togari Onsen Ski Resort, from morning to night!
We arrived at 9:40 am to find the resort already bustling with activity—we had to park in the third parking lot. Beyond skiing, we enjoyed lunch at the newly opened Harajuku-famous ramen shop “Tsukemen Ich,” bought chocolate at Okushinano BUNZO, and had dinner at Yakiniku Dragon. It was a special day filled with both skiing and gourmet experiences!

Morning Skiing: Surprisingly Warm Weather!
After arriving, we quickly changed into our ski gear and hit the slopes.

Wide-open slopes under blue skies
The temperature was unusually high that day—it was almost hot. By late afternoon on our way back, the temperature had reached 9°C (48°F)! It felt like spring skiing, and by midday, the snow surface had become bumpy.

For lunch, we dined at the newly opened “Tsukemen Ich” located slopeside.

This famous ramen shop from Tokyo’s Harajuku district recently opened a location at Togari Onsen, so we had to check it out. It was absolutely delicious! Unfortunately, I was driving, so I couldn’t have a beer—what a shame! (laughs)

After lunch, we continued skiing until around 2 PM. With the high temperature changing the snow quality, we decided to call it a day earlier than usual.
Snack Time: Chocolate at Okushinano BUNZO
After leaving the ski resort, we stopped by Okushinano BUNZO on our way back to buy some chocolate for a snack.
This renowned shop is run by Chef Kobayashi Masakazu, known as the “Father of Nama Chocolate.” We enjoyed a relaxing break savoring delicious chocolate—a truly blissful moment.
